This illuminated magnifier lamp is perfect for the hobbyist or for use at the home or office. It features an 8 diopter (3x) magnifying lens; magnifies an item approx. 200% larger. The T4 12-watt round fluorescent bulb provides excellent task lighting with less heat (less-than 1 degrees vs. 35+ for incandescent bulbs) while reducing shadows and glare; it's much more energy efficient, and lasts up to 5000 hours! The lens also has a flip up protective dust cover. The body features an adjustable neck and a swivel lens frame.
